Julie
trained at Trinity College of Music, London.
In 1998 she won the Gloucestershire Young Musician competition,
and in 1999 was a prize-winner in the Trinity Association
Soloist's Competition. She also made her London debut,
performing the Max Bruch and Samuel Barber violin concertos
in St John's, Smith Square.
After graduation from Trinity Julie continued postgraduate
studies at the Royal College of Music where she gained
her solo performance diploma.
Now a member of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra
first violin section, she also freelances with, amongst
others:
· The Philharmonia.
· BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
· BBC Concert Orchestra
· English Symphony Orchestra
